Premier DJ is arguably the best supplier of Mobile Discos and DJ Hire in Reading, Berkshire, and we have been nominated in the Top Three disco suppliers in Reading by ThreeBestRated in 2020 and 2021.
Our founder, Paul Hayes, started DJ-ing in Reading in 1996 and quickly became popular on the bar and nightclub circuit in and around Berkshire. Later, he brought his “can-do” approach to up-market wedding receptions, birthday parties and corporate events and began playing all over the South of England. Then, as he could not be everywhere at once, he started looking for like-minded DJs who had a passion for delivering high-quality Mobile Disco entertainment, and built an elite team of professionals. Premier DJ was born!
Since then, Premier DJ has grown to become one of the top DJ providers in Reading and the surrounding area, supplying wedding venues, hotels, restaurants, sports and social clubs and thousands of private events. We have an amazing team of high-class DJs based all over the South-East of England, covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Wiltshire, Essex, Kent and Greater London.

Meet the Team
Scott
Based in Reading, Scott has been working in the entertainment and hospitality industry for over thirty years. He has extensive event management experience and will help you to choose the package which best suits your budget, tailored to your specific needs. He is also a great all-round DJ, playing all styles, but has a particular passion for 60s, 70s and 80s music and regularly DJs at “retro” theme nights.
Edward
Edward is a great guy with a real enthusiasm for the business. Based in Reading, but willing to travel anywhere he is needed, he plays all styles and particularly enjoys DJ-ing at 18th and 21st birthday parties.
Darren
Based in Thame, Darren has been a regaular work-horse for Premier DJ for over fifteen years, providing his music-mixing skills at weddings, anniversaries and corporate events all over the South-East of England.
Robert
Based in Thame, Rob is a great all-rounder DJ, specialising in weddings and family celebrations. He loves to interact with the crowd and always fills the dance floor with his great choice of music.
Paul
Based in Reading, Paul was our founder and spends most of his time now running our office and looking after his family, but he still DJs occasionally, especially at Kids Parties and School Proms.
James
Based in Bracknell, James is a great all-round DJ and Karaoke compere. He loves to do pub gigs around Berkshire and the surrounding area.
David
Based in Basingstoke, David specialises in DJ-ing at weddings, anniversaries and corporate events in Berkshire and North Hampshire.
Chris
Based in Brentwood, Chris is a great all-round DJ and karaoke compere, specialising in student events, weddings and family celebrations. He loves to interact with the crowd and always fills the dance floor with his great choice of music.
Gareth
Based in Edgware, Gareth is a great singer and loves to present karaoke shows in Middlesex and London. He is also a skilled DJ with many years experience, providing his mixing skills at nightclubs weddings, anniversaries and corporate events.
Rob
Based in Twickenham, Rob is a great all-rounder DJ with many years of experience, specialising in weddings, family celebrations and corporate events in Middlesex, Surrey and London.
Daniel
Based in Northwood, Daniel is a charismatic karaoke compere and event host, providing his services in pubs, bars and restaurants all over the South-East of England.

Mark
Based in Camberley, Mark is a lively and slightly nutty DJ and karaoke host, providing his music-mixing skills at bars, nightclubs, weddings, anniversaries and corporate events all over the South-East of England. He ialso DJs at kids parties under the pseudonym of “Captain Chaos”.
Mike
Based in Luton, Mike is a great all-rounder DJ and karaoke compere, working in Bedforshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
